在世界電影雜誌一開始介紹到此片時就很期待這部電影，看了後題材與預想的蠻有落差。簡單的說，這算是很嚴肅探討退休老人的孤寂與失落的一部電影。七個主角七個老人，其中包括一對夫妻，但即使夫妻也是貌合神離的孤寂的一對，在經濟節距下不約而同飛到印度一古老卻破落的老飯店，追求各自的異想。又是一個少見的電影探討角度。
